Just a Moment came to me in a flash in 2020, then over the course of two years I collaborated with my long time friend Aggi to produce a limited edition print copy of the book. 

The first iteration of this website [kerrynlyes.com] began in 2015 as a photography blog on Wordpress. I was interning and then working as a writer and account manger in marketing agencies, and had carried on the habit of film photography from highschool. The friend in the pictures is no longer alive, so I hold these images with a certain kind of tenderness. I thought about removing the old watermark logo, designed by Colter Carson, who must have been really quite young at the time, but it feels more archival to keep it. 

This was a collaboration with Piper Reynolds and prepared for a women’s retreat by Carly Raemer in Boulder, Colorado.  Piper and I communicated in dreams and also via WhatsApp to come up with an 18 piece symbol set and corresponding legend card. Each participant slept with a rune under their pillow for the night, before re-drawing a rune. An unfoldment.
